Covenant Baptist’s Benefit for Pregnancy Resource Center
Covenant Baptist Church of Blount County organized a successful benefit for the Pregnancy Resource Center in Maryville, Tennessee. We invited the Maryville community to come together and raise money for this life saving organization and dozens of people came in support.
The Pregnancy Resource Center serves the Maryville community by providing FREE counseling, pregnancy testing, STI testing, Ultrasound imaging, abortion counseling, and more. They never charge for their services and describe themselves as a free and charitable medical clinic.
For the benefit, PRC brought their mobile ultrasound and pregnancy testing unit for guests to tour. It was a blessing to see all that they do for women in need.
Volunteers from the church visited local businesses and solicited donations to be auctioned at the event. Cracker Barrel, Rural King, and a number of others, donated gift cards, free meals, and products. Individuals donated baskets full of useful and fun items. The auction proved successful and more than $2,500.00 was raised for PRC.
